Nathan Mudry
Project Manager/Sr. Biologist
Mr. Mudry has more than 20 years of experience as an environmental consultant in Southern California. Mr. Mudry is a project manager with utility infrastructure experience, with recent experience working on Southern California Edison projects. Throughout his professional career he has effectively combined his expertise in biological resources, geographical information systems (GIS), and CEQA/NEPA compliance. His work on development projects includes all facets of impact assessment and mitigation planning in accordance with state and federal environmental regulations. During the last several years, Mr. Mudry has been involved in all aspects of wind, solar and transmission line project development from project planning, to permitting, and construction monitoring. He has participated in major projects that involve habitat assessments, Mitigated Negative Declarations, Environmental Assessments (on Public/Private Lands) and EIR/EIS documents, and has conducted numerous protocol-level surveys for endangered and sensitive plant and animal species. Mr. Mudry has a history of working efficiently to accomplish the tasks that each project requires. He has established himself as an effective communicator between developers, planners, scientists and stakeholders that gives him an important role when projects need clarity. Karen Phan
Assistant Project Manager/Biologist
A recent Biology graduate of the University of California, Berkeley, Karen comes to Environmental Intelligence (EI) with industry experience working at Southern California Edison (SCE) as an intern in their Environmental Programs Department. She is also experienced working in insect ecology at the University of California. At SCE, she worked closely with the environmental compliance team, creating clearance forms, reviewing biological resource data, and processing environmental review documents. Her experience at SCE has allowed her to help support SCE’s Renewable Interconnect Project that is managed by EI. Karen can be reach via email at KarenPhan@enviro-intel.com.
