EI provided biological services in support of the redevelopment of an oil and gas recovery facility located within a 70-acre property. EI completed focused surveys for coastal California gnatcatcher, special-status plant and wildlife surveys, jurisdictional wetlands and waters, and a Biological Resources Assessment. EI also provided GIS data and prepared maps of the existing area, vegetation, habitat, survey findings, relevant jurisdictional water features, as well as other supporting data based upon federal and State databases and field conditions. EI helped Matrix to develop a Landscape Plan and provided guidance and response to peer review comments in support of the facility redevelopment and permitting process.
