EI’s was retained by Coffman Specialties, Inc. to provide biological services including biological monitoring and reporting in support of the Mesquite Regional Landfill and Associated Rail Spur and Intermodal Yard Project which is located on land that is owned and operated by the Sanitation Districts of Los Angeles County. EI has provided desert awareness training, conducted clearance surveys for desert tortoise prior to construction, and monitored construction activities. In addition to this, EI has conducted construction monitoring for desert tortoise, burrowing owl, and nesting birds.
