Justin’s diverse technical skill set and communication skills enable him to fill several integral roles on EI’s projects for major utility, oil and gas, and public sector clients throughout southern California. Justin leads the environmental program for SCE’s Hazardous Tree Removal Project covering both private and public lands across five National Forests. As part of this effort, Justin manages multiple technical and field staff assignments, oversees daily program operations and client communications, and coordinates with various regulatory agencies to meet program objectives. Justin has authored biological constraints analyses and biotechnical reports, managed and performed habitat assessments, led focused biological surveys for special status species, and Section 401, 404, and CDFW 1600 permit compliance programs. He also has a strong understanding of regional habitat conservation plans and is well-versed in agency coordination.
