Matt Amalong
Field Operations Manager
Matt Amalong has over 15 years of experience as a wildlife biologist and project manager in southern California. His responsibilities have included special-status species surveys and monitoring, project management, and preparation of a variety of final technical reports and assessments. Mr. Amalong’s duties have also included preparing scopes, schedules, and budgets; project background research and literature review; document peer review and report writing; coordinating and conducting field surveys (avian, herpetological, mammalian, vegetation); monitoring threatened and endangered species; and construction monitoring. Mr. Amalong is a well-rounded biologist and manager with a proven track record supporting a variety of projects, including: wind and solar energy facilities, utility and transmission line upgrades, wetland delineation, restoration, and Superfund site projects.
