Megan is a Registered Professional Archaeologist with nine years of experience in California archaeology, with six years working with cultural resources compliance projects. She has been professionally trained in the workings of Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act (NHPA), the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), and applicable federal, state, and local statutes and regulations. Megan has extensive experience working on projects for federal, state, municipal planning, and other local lead agencies, as well as for private development projects. She exceeds the Secretary of the Interior’s Professional Qualification Standards for Archaeology. She also has seven years GIS experience, with over four years’ experience managing GIS databases, field geospatial data, and conducting geospatial analysis for a variety of project needs. Her well rounded experience in archaeology spans all facets of cultural resources management, including fieldwork, Native American coordination and consultations, lab work and curation, and the production of a variety of deliverables makes her a valuable asset to Environmental Intelligence.
